Students are the foundation of Marist College. From earning Fulbright and Goldwater scholarships, to leading the MAAC in academic honor roll selections for twenty straight years; from bringing awareness to heart disease and breast cancer, to sponsoring a mentor event in an effort to lower high school dropout rates in the local community, Marist students demonstrate their leadership every day.
In an effort to support these outstanding Marist students, local businesses are leading the way by sponsoring a portion of their educational costs through the Hudson Valley Scholars Program. For more than two decades, the program has supported local high school graduates attending Marist College with financial scholarships. All student scholars are local and many will remain in the valley after they graduate from Marist and become responsible members of their communities.
The Hudson Valley Scholars Program is run by a volunteer committee and depends solely on the generosity of the businesses that support the student scholars. If your business would like more information on sponsoring a student, please contact Chanel Marino in the Office of College Advancement at (845) 575-3863.
