Meet Rebekah Hand '20
Rebekah Hand explored a range of careers after she graduated from Marist in 2020 as a four-year member of the women’s basketball team and with a degree in biology., She worked briefly at an infectious disease lab during COVID until she moved to Lubbock, Texas, where she was to be a graduate assistant for the Texas Tech Women’s basketball team. While there, she earned her MBA before starting as an account manager for a small orthodontic and dental marketing company. Now, four years post-graduation, Rebekah is the leader of a non-profit called Isaiah 117 House where they serve foster kids awaiting placement. Their mission is to reduce trauma for children awaiting placement during the difficult time before they are placed, lighten the load for caseworkers, and ease the transition for foster families. “It has been a journey of trying different careers out, but I am so thankful for every season I’ve had post-grad and the friendships I have met made along the way!” says Rebekah.
